Vasilios Rontiris, age 82, of Flushing, New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Beloved husband of Panorea (nee Anagnostopoulos). Loving father of George Rontiris and Vaso (Fred) Klauck. Cherished grandfather of Fred and William Klauck. Dear brother of Spiradoula Mpourza, Chris (Joann) Rontiris, John (Paraskevi)Rontiris and Georgia (Tom) Golianopoulos.
A visitation for Vasilios will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at ST Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11358. The interment will follow on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
