I will miss my dear aunt, who shared many good times with me. She was so classy, smart, attractive. I appreciated having such a special relative. I'm so very grateful that my Uncle Sol found her in Europe and brought her back from England to America to be his lovely wife. I admired her work in journalism, a field I also participated in. She took me to several lunches in New York for journalism professionals. She shared a visit to the New York Symphony with me, too. I enjoyed some visits to the Tavern on the Green for Daughters of the British Empire events. All good memories. But best of all, I just enjoyed being in her entertaining company.

Dear Neil and Joanne
Just hearing your mom's name brings back a flood of memories. My wife, Carol and Anita were such close friends for so many years. I bonded with Sol and loved Anita's stories. She told them so well. Mostly about her past with Leonard Lyons and her golden age, as she put it, with the celebrities. Their signed photos graced the walls of her downstairs party room. And what wonderful parties they were.
I am scheduled to get the Covid vaccination tomorrow, Friday at the Javits Center. I no longer drive and will take Uber from NST. I've spent hours and hours trying to get an appointment closer. I hesitate to give this up. Will try to get Zoom funeral another way.
My sincere condolences and best wishes for good health to you and your families. Fred Chernow
