I had the great pleasure of becoming College friends with Sharlene when we went to school together. She was without a doubt the most the most intelligent and perceptive student in our social work class. We drifted apart as our lives went on but I always maintained a deep respect for her because of her authenticity and her integrity not to mention her creativity. She was certainly a gem. She could think out of the box like no other. After graduating she became an extraordinary counsellor when she worked at the hospital. People sought her out because word got around about how good she was. One thing for sure that I remember about Sharlene is that Murray was the love of her life and her children meant everything to her. My deepest condolences to her son and her grandchildren. Rest In Peace Sharlene. You were a beautiful person and I am sad that you are gone. I know that you will be remembered by so many.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Sharlene. I worked with her for many years; she was a remarkable woman and excellent counsellor who care deeply for the welfare of her clients.
I loved our morning conversations over coffee; during which it was easy to see how much she truly cherished her family and of course all her fur babies. She was an amazing story teller and had such a great sense of humour with a belly laugh that was truly contagious. My sympathies go out to her family and friends, I know she will be missed.
