Anthony was a calm and fine gentleman. He had this aura of friendliness around him which made it easy for one to connect with  him.

After his marriage to Letty (nee Toby), he tried as much as possible to establish contacts with his wife's relatives. He was a good in-law. I recall that not long after his wedding, precisely in 2015, his father in-law passed away. Anthony made out time to travel to Opobo Town in Nigeria to attend the funeral rites which spanned several days. During that visit he made sure he met and interacted with the Elders and people of the Toby Family.

He will be sorely missed not only by his immediate family, but by all who came in contact with him in his life time.

May God grant his soul eternal rest in His bosom.

DR TOBIAS TOBY.

Sister Sharon, I was lost for words upon learning that your beloved husband had gone to be with the Lord. When I learnt of his ill-health, like most, I believed that another testimony was loading; I had hoped that yet another miracle would unfold for you.

But alas! It was not to be. I am glad that you had the time you did together, regardless of how short. For the smile he put on your face and the sense of fulfilment that he brought to your life. I am glad for the gift of your precious son together, Jezreel my birthday-mate.

I can only continue to pray you strength for each day. For peace- the type that passes all understanding. For God to enfold you and the rest of the family in his love, and comfort you in the way only He can.

Rest in peace, sir, and may the good Lord receive you into his bosom.

Tony,

Can’t believe you’re gone.

Letty’s heart bleeds and is broken but we pray that the beautiful years you shared together and the wonderful blessing of God to you both named Jezrelle, will be a testament of Gods hand upon your lives and marriage.

I remember you as the quintessential gentleman and pray your gentle soul rest with the Lord!

Rest in the peace of the Lord! You have run your race and finished!
Pain is gone and rest has come!

Dear Anthony

I didn't really know you that well as I met you in the UK, but I met someone who was gentle, enthusiastic and looking forward to a bright future. You were dedicated to family and loved your kids
You have gone ahead to rest and continue your spiritual journey
It was a privilege to know you and until we meet again. God bless you x
