He was born on July 10, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Basilio and Rosalia (Endriolo) Artino. Raised and educated in Cleveland, Joseph was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School. Joseph was a Carpenter by trade and held a position with EF Donely and Sons.
Joseph is survived by his wife Kay A. Artino; his daughter and son-in-law, Marijo and and Edwin Clark; his son Herbert J. Artino, whose memory he held close to his heart; his grandchildren, Lindsey N. Clark, Brandon J. Artino and Jesse A. Artino; his daughter-in-law, Margaret Artino; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Salvadore "Sam" Artino, Mary Fazio, Teresa Bors, Benito "Benny" Artino and Baigo Artino.
Joseph's funeral service will commence on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2500 NE 33rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Avon, Ohio on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:00 with military honors conferred by the United States Marine Corps.
