Dear Vic,
I had the honor of meeting you this morning while walking with my friends in the neighborhood. We recognized Max(your dog), but had never met you before.
All of us knew your wife and Max, from seeing them on our frequent walks. Our conversations with her were always upbeat and friendly. I remember when Vickie adopted Max 2. She would update us on how the training was going. It was a bit challenging in the beginning, but she persevered! Vickie was always positive and was a bright spot on our walks. We looked forward to seeing her (and Max) and exchanging pleasantries.
I just viewed the wonderful memorial video of her. There were so many things that we didn’t know about her. What a rich, full life. Vickie’s beautiful face and sweet spirit will be missed in our neighborhood.
Praying for you and your family.

Uncle Vic, Cousins Anne and Toni, we are so sorry for the loss of Aunt Vickie. Aunt Vickie has that smile and laugh that can be matched by no one, and that will be missed by all, and I was so blessed to have Aunt Vickie as my Aunt Vickie for many years.
Always love to hear her ask, Chris how old are you now, and after my answer, she would always say wow. Rest in Peace Aunt Vickie, Rest in Peace.
On the wings of a snow-white dove,
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of the dove.
God Bless-Love Chris, Janice and Nicole & Cassie

When calling Vickie from the Nashville Kroger office, the warmth of her smile would radiate though the phone lines earning her the nickname, "Sunshine". Being her friend has been an honor and has brought so much fun and happiness to my life, especially in our retirement years. We enjoyed sharing our love of family, friends, faith, food and, of course, wine! During her last visit to our "right-sized" home, my grandson fell in love with Vickie as folks normally do. He told me yesterday that Vickie is watching over us and asked that I send her flowers from him. The sunflower arrangement is for my Sunshine from all of us. I pray that knowing how she touched so many hearts with her bright smile and sunny disposition will bring some degree of comfort to her beautiful family. Shine on, my dear friend! We WILL meet again!
With Much love and Hugs!

Vickie was a great friend and colleague. I can still remember days that Vicky helped encourage me on the tough days buying floral in Vero Beach. She had a great laugh that lifted the room. My condolences to the family.
