Anne E. Martin, 96 of Van Buren, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born in Fort Smith September 1, 1922 to the late Charles and Ida Armbruster Ross. She was a member of Midland Heights United Methodist Church, a retired Sales Clerk at Calico Goose Antiques in Van Buren, a member of The Garden Club and the Fort Smith Police Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hubert Martin.
There will be no services, she will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
She is survived by three daughters, Janna Martin Newton and her husband Albert, of Fort Smith, Martie Martin of Van Buren and Shirley Lee and her husband Ronnie, of Sallisaw, OK; Two grandchildren, Penelope Templeton and her husband Wayne, of Van Buren and Hunter Newton and his wife Amber, of Mount Ida; two great grandchildren, Maddie Templeton and Fischer Newton. Anne is also survived by her caregiver, Karen Young of Alma.
