Dale Daws

Dale Daws, age 64, of Muldrow, passed from this life January 11, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born December 13, 1956, in Fort Smith, to Olen and Mary Earls Daws. Dale retired as a roofing contractor. His passion was camping. And everything that was camping. He loved the fire pit, cooking and visiting with friends. Dale also enjoyed grilling and smoking meats, and was especially known for his deer jerky.

Dale is survived by his wife Cathy; two sons, Chris Daws and his wife Gentri, and their children Konnor and Kassadi, and Jason Daws and his wife Breana and their children, Chaysten, Sadie, Brookelynn, Konner, Rikki and Charlette; one sister Becky Wilson and her husband Buck of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, as well as two brothers Larry Daws and his wife Betty of Florida and Paul Daws and his wife Anita of Spiro, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Kimberly Daws, and a brother Ronnie Daws.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, January 15, 2021 at Roland Pentecostal Church, with burial following at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10:00am to 5:00pm Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

We loved Dale and will miss him so much. He worked for us and we always loved it when he and Cathy would cook and he would bring it to the office. Loved those Fried Potatoes. Such a sweet guy and he will be missed by all that knew him.
