When Randy and I first met Brother George and Sister Carolyn, God led us to the Liberty Jesus Name Church that they pastored. We had a large family with several young children. I loved to listen to the Sunday School class that Brother George taught. I felt exited about studying the word of God. Our children participated in their classes and sang songs. We went there a few years and named our youngest child Carolyn, after Sister Carolyn. We appreciate the time spent with them, and I feel certain that Brother George rests now in the arms of an Almighty God. May He bring an absolute peace to you Sister Carolyn. I met George through his brother Jim. George was an awesome, all around, genuine man with a sense of humor with some good jokes and a lot of family stories.  He was also a  good steward of God. Carolyn and Family , I am sorry for your loss. 
We will see Brother George again, it's promised!

I first George when I was 17 years old. We were both going to attend computer school in Kansas City and did so for two months. During this time I had a great opportunity to learn  about George’s character, sense of humor and deep religious faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
When George and Carolyn were married George gave me the honor of being his best man. Naturally I wasn’t able to help “trash” his car so I obtained the help of another friend to do my bidding.
In time when Sandy and I were married I wanted George to be my best man.
I will certainly miss George but take great comfort in knowing that of all the wonderful stories I’ve heard and read about Heaven from walking the streets of gold to personally talking with Jesus Christ George is enjoying all these things and much more. 
Carolyn,  we love you very much and our prayers will be with you always!

George was a huge hearted precious man! I’ll never forget my childhood in church with George and Carolyn! I’ve learned so much about life from this man as a young child and of course it’s embedded deep! Spread your wings George! You made it! Never forgotten!

I have always loved George (and Carolyn.) Have many good memories of him at Shamrock church. I also enjoyed him visiting at Dad’s honey shop, And of course the Santa and Easter bunny visits! Such a sweet kind, giving and encouraging soul. My parents loved him also: pastors have kindred spirits. He is Loved my many and will be missed tons! Keep smiling and loving in your eternal home in heaven.❤️

We have been friends with George and Carolyn for 36 years, ever since George and Eugene went to BAI school in Madison Wisconsin in 1986. George and Eugene became fast friends with like minds and when they were together the conversation between them was non stop. George was ultimately the reason for leading Eugene to the Lord, thank you George. I know George has many crowns in heaven, and we will miss you our friend. We love you Carolyn.💗

Wow, where to start!  When Sarah was born 27 years ago, Santa and Mrs. Claus and the Easter bunny starting coming to our house and kept coming every year until she moved out and got married.  I know  they did the same for others too.  There was never a kinder, more generous man than Uncle George.  The world needs more men like him.  He was such a good example of what a Pastor, husband, uncle, and friend should be. We are saddened by this loss, but rejoice to know he no longer suffers any pain.  I know he’s in the heavenly band, playing his bass as loud as he can.

George was a wonderful person you could depend on to fix a computer problem, entertain you with stories of life with his beloved wife, or witness to the love of his Savior and Lord.  I worked with him for many years at First National and always enjoyed his upbeat and happy attitude, never complaining even though he had many health problems.  So happy we got to visit with him in June when he performed the wedding of my daughter. Sending love and prayers to Carolyn and all those whose lives he blessed.
