Joseph William Kutchka Jr.

Joseph William Kutchka, Jr. 83 of Barling, AR passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. He was born December 28, 1934 in Port Lavaca, TX to the late Joseph William Kutchka, Sr. and Ruby Lottie Geryk Kutchka. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was a stores administrator for Alcoa until his retirement after 33 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ann Jurena Kutchka.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2018 with the Rosary immediately following at 7:00 PM at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Barling.

Joseph is survived by three sons; Jeff Kutchka of Barling, Jay Kutchka and his wife Jane-Ellen of Ft. Smith, and Jody Kutchka of Rogers, six grandchildren; David Kutchka and Jeffrey Kutchka both of Fayetteville, Claire Kutchka, Caroline Kutchka, Andrew Kutchka, and Leah Kutchka all of Ft. Smith and one great grandchild, Makaila Kutchka. Joseph is also survived by his sister, Janie Lackow of LaPorte, TX and his cousin, Charles Allen Kutchka of Victoria, TX.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
