Larry J Schluterman

November 19, 1957January 7, 2021

Larry Schluterman, 63, of Fort Smith, passed from this life on January 7, 2021 after a brief battle with COVID 19. He was born on November 19, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to John Richard and Hilda Friemel Schluterman. Larry was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith and an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Ben Schluterman. Larry is survived by one son and daughter in law, Jonathan and Abby Schluterman of Tyler, TX. ; one granddaughter, Lucy Schluterman of Tyler, TX.; one sister, Judy Singleterry (Ron) of Fort Smith; three brothers, Rick Schluterman (Leslie) of Fort Smith, Kevin Schluterman (Amy) of Paris, Dennis Schluterman (Betsy) of Fort Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Private family Rosary will be 10 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to follow. Public service and burial will be 11:30 AM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to River Valley Regional Food Bank, 1617 Zero Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.

My condolences to the Schluterman family. So very sorry to hear of the passing of Larry. We worked together many year ago and I certainly considered him a friend. Also I’m friends with his sister Judy Singleterry and my sympathies to her as well.
