Lefty C. Knautz, 68, of Arkoma passed from this life January 10, 2020 in Little Rock. He was born October 10, 1951, in Durham, North Carolina, to the late Dennie and Lillie Knautz. Lefty will be remembered for his heart of gold and his willingness to help anyone. He was a good friend to many. Lefty was a good dad, and the best dad he didn’t have to be to his step-children. Lefty was retired from Ferguson Pipe.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Marie Hawkins of the home; his children, Jason Knautz of Fort Smith, Audra Sinclair of Kingman, Arizona, Toby Knautz of Little Rock and Dylan Knautz of Arkoma; step children, Christina Hawkins of Arkoma, Monica Fisher of Arkoma and Jeremy Hawkins of Spiro; two sisters, Melissa Keeney of Kingman, Arizona and Flossie Yarnell of Noble, Oklahoma; nieces, Melinda Heitman, Trina Mattoon and Kayla Swayze; great niece, and nephew, Desire and Cody; as well as twenty-six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Lefty was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Candy Milner; a sister, Christine Knautz; and his brother, Donald Knautz.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday January 20, 2020 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday January 19, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Lefty, even though you were my cousin, I only saw and talked to you when we were very young(12-14). We would visit you in Kingman. My mother, Bonnie Heasman, was your father, Dennys, sister. You are now without pain and with your brother Donald and sister Christine. Blessing and prayers.
