Patty Nichols, 71 of Barling, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born on February 26. 1949 in West Branch, Michigan to the late Wilbur and Eva Miller. Patty was a good hearted Christian woman, who was a good cook and made the best chocolate cake around. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Lea Ann Smith; a son, Wilbur Ross and her former husband, Bobby Nichols. There are no services scheduled, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by two daughters, Daphne Haddan of Rock Island, Illinois and Dondi Hottois of Michigan; four sisters, Leona Miteen, Doris Graber and Wanda McLaughlin, all of Michigan and Sue Ryan of Oklahoma; two brothers, Leroy Miller and Clayton Miller, both of Michigan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Kim, Chris, Amanda, Robbie (Aaron), Kenny, Josh, Micah, Tina, Justin, as well many great grandchildren, including Carl, Ellison and Wesley, plus one great-great grandchild.

Aunt Patty will trully be missed. Her humor her wise cracking statements.She was always there for anyone she was kind hearted and would help no matter what it took . I have so many fond memories . She will be missed
