

Rex Devon Bailey of Fort Smith, AR passed away June 25, 2014; two days shy of his 81st Birthday. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Trudy Leona Bailey and their daughter Shauna Jo Bailey.
He is survived by their four children; Scott and Enelda Bailey of Fort Smith, Roger Bailey of Alma, Julie Bailey of American Fork, UT, and Mitchell and Jade Bailey of Clawson, MI. He was blessed with six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend, and devoted husband. He was the owner of the family owned business Fort Smith Vacuum. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, where he was also a High Priest, a member of the VDTA, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, and past president of the Fort Smith Soccer Association.
He was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT to Waldmar Francis and Cassandra Debenham Bailey. He was the youngest of six children. He was preceded in death by his brother George Ralph Bailey and two sisters Barbara Bailey Hales, and Margene Bailey Bagley. He is survived by his brother Frank Don Bailey and sister Annette Bailey Ingersoll.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints 8712 Horan Drive Fort Smith, AR with burial and Military Honors to follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Hollis Snell, IV, Jared Vines, Scott Bailey, Mitchell Bailey, Shawn Bailey, and Cameron Bailey.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Fentress Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Ward Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints 8712 Horan Drive Ft. Smith, AR 72903.
