Alfred George Williams Jr., 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his home in StoryPoint retirement community. Born June 27, 1929, in Orange, N.J., he was a son of the late Alfred George Sr. and Anna Josephine (Lehman) Williams. Alfred was an industrial arts teacher at Edison High School for over 33 years, from which he retired, a teacher in Madison, N.J. and high school golf coach. He was also a scoutmaster, woodcarver, and rock hound. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Nelson) Williams of Fort Wayne; children, Howard A. (Charbeau) Williams and Timothy E. (AnnMarie) Williams; grandsons, Michael T. (Natalie) Williams and Christopher E. Williams; granddaughter, Monica M. (John) Farrelly; and great-grandchildren, Bradley D. Williams and Aurora L. Farrelly. He was also preceded in death by two children, Valarie A. (Williams) Benitez and Alfred “George” Williams II. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
