

CLARENCE E. ANDERSON, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Whitley County, he graduated from Huntertown High School, joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged after proudly serving for 12 years, including an 18 month deployment in France. He was a 50+ year member of the Masonic Fraternity (home lodge was Churubusco #515). Clarence was also a member of both the Indiana Scottish Rite and Shrine Temples. Upon being discharged, Clarence moved to Connecticut, worked in several family business interests and finally opened a printing business of his own in Danbury. After 28 enjoyable and productive years in Connecticut, he retired to Fort Wayne to work with his father restoring Ford tractors. Surviving are his sister, Mary Lewis of Fort Wayne; aunt, Esther (William) Anderson of Churubusco; stepchildren, Erick Zulich of Fort Wayne, Erin (Nicole) Zulich of California, Sharon (Steve) Justice and her son, Nicholas Martin of Florida; nephew, Michael (Ruth) Shearer of Fort Wayne and his children, Michael Jr. (Kandra) Shearer of Tennesee and Mary Shearer of Florida; and numerous cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; daughter, Courtney; mother, Catherine (Rowland) Anderson; father and stepmother, Robert (Rita) Anderson; and stepsister, Pat (Jim) Taylor. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
