DOLLY F. WOLSTEN, 93, died on Thursday, Nov.8, 2018. She was affection-ately called "Mimi". Born Oct. 6, 1925, in Rosharon, Texas, she graduated from Purdue School of Nursing and retired from the old Lutheran Hospital as an Orthopedic Nurse. One of her biggest joys was doting on her family. Whether baking, making cards for every occasion to knitting wash cloths and angels, she was a guiding light to her family.
She enjoyed Soduku, puzzles, and lemon treats of all kinds. Dolly was also an accomplished seamstress, who could whip up a costume or prom dress for any occasion. Dolly was a dedicated volunteer at First Wayne Street Methodist, where she planned meals for families during times of bereavement.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Ginny) Mann; three grandchildren, Bob "Bo" (Sheri) Mann, Anna Laurie (Shawn) Mann Harms and Heather (Jeff) Mann Cammllarie; eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Wolsten.
