Geraldine "Gerry" Royse, age 89, of Fort Wayne, Ind. passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born August 10, 1934 in Fort Wayne to the late Roger and Helen (née McKinley) Hurst.
Gerry is survived by her children Lynn Royse, Kathy (Wallace) Waite, Kay (Michael) Scaggs, and Brian Royse; daughter-in-law, Gail Royse; grandchildren, Daniel Royse, Jason Royse, Faith (née Waite) Vittitoe, Allison (née Waite) Schmitt, Kalen Royse, Dustin Scaggs, Zachery Royse, Allysa Royse and Spencer Royse; and great-grandchildren, Emma Royse, Anna Royse, Ethan Royse, Joshua Vittitoe, Patrick Scaggs, Abigail Vittitoe and Nathanial Schmitt. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Royse; sisters, Virginia “Ginny” Doxsee and Maxine “Mickey” Hartup; and son, Mark Royse.
Funeral Service is 10:30 am Saturday, November 11 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Ave with calling one hour prior. Interment at Lindenwood Cemetery.
