.MARJORIE A. VONDRAN, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born Oct. 30, 1934, in Perry County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Amerine) Sturgeon. Marjorie was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked as a waitress for 13 years at KFC Pancake House and for 17 years at the Hall's Restaurant, both in New Haven. She is survived by her son, Bruce A. (Michelle) Vondran of Columbia City, Ind.; daughter, Marcia (Larry) Lutz of Mountain Home, Idaho; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, David (Sharon) Sturgeon of Kenton, Ohio and John (Marilyn) Sturgeon of Greencastle, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Vondran, in 1999; and two sisters, Francis Meyer and Roberta Orick. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Lutheran Life Villages, 6701 S. Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Mike Wakeland officiating.
