Reverend Mark Allen Niemoeller

Reverend Mark Allen Niemoeller, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was born November 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked as a pastor for 41 years, most recently serving Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. He also taught at Bishop Luers High School for 17 years. He is survived by his mother, Caroline (Schmidt) Niemoeller of Hamilton, OH; children, Deborah Niemoeller, Stephen Niemoeller, and Andrew (Andrea) Niemoeller, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Michael, Abigail, Isabel, Emma, LillyAnne, Levi, and Melody; brothers, David Niemoeller of Hamilton, OH and Kevin (DeLisa) Niemoeller of Hebron, KY; and nephew, Benjamin Niemoeller of Eaton, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin Robert Niemoeller; wife, Marilyn Jean (Shrote) Niemoeller; and brother, Thomas Niemoeller. Memorial service will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
