Richard "Dick" Roemke, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2018, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born Monday, December 7, 1931, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Welma Schaper Roemke and William Roemke. He served in the Air Force and was an accountant at Phelps Dodge.
Surviving are his wife, Margarith "Meg" Roemke of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Heidi (Don Tyler) Roemke of Fort Wayne and Karen (Bryan) Evertt of Monroe, Michigan; four granddaughters, Amanda, Heather, Gerry, and Gretchen, and four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Roemke.
