Debbie was born in 1958 to Katherine (Hicks) and Douglass Baisden. She was raised by her mother and Robert Johnson, both of whom preceded in death. Deb is survived by her stepmother Normadee Johnson.
Debbie’s family includes her siblings, sister Lori Vauble (Danny) and brother Ken Johnson (Rae Jean).
Debbie’s two daughters were the light of her life. Her daughter Amy Dorn preceded her mother in death. She is survived by her daughter Amanda McLaughlin Welsh.
Debbie leaves behind her granddaughters Morgan, Nicole, Kortnie, and Sierra along with nieces and nephews and their families.
Deb lost her husband of 23 years Mark Alexander just over a year ago, but she is survived by Mark’s son Ryan Alexander (Lacy) and their twins Levi and Dylan. Mark’s family also includes his father Don Alexander (Betty) and his sister Pat Buck (James). Mark’s daughter Harvey preceded Debbie in death.
A memorial will be held to honor Deb on Tuesday, July 30 at 7 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Home 7301 E. Lancaster in Fort Worth.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Debbie’s honor to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the charity of your choice.
