Albert Woolridge, Sr. was born on April 10, 1931 to the Parents of L.D. Woolridge and Argie Miles. Albert is preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Jean Woolridge, loving wife, Fay Woolridge. and one son, Prentiss Woolridge. He grew up in Longview, Texas. The 2 oldest child out of 14 children born to this union. Albert went to the Korean War in 1951-1953 with an Honorable Discharge. After his service, he worked as a FWISD custodian for many years. Later on in fife he went to Bell Helicopter as a Plater until he decided to retire. Mr. Albert and Fay was the owner of a Family Business called Albert Boot and Shoe Repair Shop. They were Professional in their skills, repairing soles and a few heels. The Family Business was featured several times in the Star Telegram. The business lasted 13 years. Had a strong relation ship with God, and he was open to give his option any time, direct advice was a part of who he was. He work 3 jobs many times to provide for his family, so his wife, Fay could be a stay at home wife and tend to the needs of their children. his work ethics was exceptional. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 son, Albert Woolridge, Jr. two daughters, Euleane Woolridge Shar and Rhonda (Chester) Griffin, 6 grandchildren, 8 brothers, 3 sisters and many nephews, nieces other relatives and a host of friends.
