Celia was born on October 2, 1967, in Guatemala. She grew up in her hometown until she was 18 when she came to the United States to live out her "American Dream."
She was a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Celia was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always there for her family and friends, offering support, guidance, and love. Celia also really loved her job as a lunch lady at Arlington ISD. She was an awesome soccer mom and loved Jesus. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalm 23 / Salmos 23, and her favorite worship band was Miel San Marcos. Her warmth and compassion will be deeply missed.
Celia is survived by her husband, Nills Recinos; her children, Chris Recinos, and Kiki Recinos-Gonzalez; her grandchild, Camila Recinos; and her extended family and friends.
As a family, we decided that instead of buying flowers and holding a huge public service, we ask that you donate to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Celia Recinos's memory. All funds raised will benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care, support programs, and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.

We hope and pray that one day, there can be a cure for Alzheimer's.
