Jeanene Clair (Hajek) Richardson was born on March 12, 1933, the sixth of nine children and one of six sisters. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1951 and married the love of her life, Thedford L. "Bill" Richardson, on May 5, 1951, shortly before his military service in Korea. They were married for 56 years, before Bill's passing in 2007. They are now reunited in Heaven watching over their four children, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a soon to be second great grandchild.
Jeanene was a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church of Burleson and an unwavering woman of faith, who looked fondly toward the day she would meet her Jesus. Her prayers were heard and felt far and wide, and she selflessly offered her life in service to others in countless ways. She was ever the loyal friend.
She appreciated the beauty of God's creation and reflected this beauty in everything she did and in everything she was. Every person, every creature, and every living thing was precious to her. She shared her own artistic nature with the world through a variety of hobbies and interests, including painting, crochet, cooking, and a love of classical music. She was also an avid reader who never lost her boundless curiosity about life.
If anyone could make Heaven more beautiful, it is our mother and grandmother. Her special touch, her smile, her tender heart, and her gentle spirit will be deeply missed, even as we rejoice that she is free, happy, and at peace with the Lord.
Jeanene Richardson is survived by her four children, Judy Renfrow (and husband Randy), Janet Glosup (and husband Max), Barry Richardson (and wife Evie), and Bob Richardson; five grandchildren, Kelli Renfrow, Logan Renfrow, Richard Glosup (and wife Rebecca), Sarah Barrera (and husband Ryan), and Matthew Richardson; and one great grandchild, Asher Glosup. She is also survived by siblings Juliet Taylor, Norma Daniel, Wilbur Hajek, Mary Jo Worthington, Helen McDonald, Sharon Matzner, Ted Hajek, as well as their families, including numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brother Edward Hajek and parents Joseph and Jennie Lea Hajek.
