Kenneth Waldo Hammer, 96, passed away August 12, 2023.
Kenneth was born September 11, 1926. He moved to Fort Worth in 1959 to attend Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Ken was a former pastor, preacher, and chaplain. He retired from General Dynamics in 1989. He was a World War II Veteran that fought in Japan, the Philippines, and Korean War. He was active with the veterans, even in his 80’s.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Estelle. They were married for 53 wonderful years. As well as Bernece Ryan Hammer, married for 10 loving years.
Ken is survived by 2 children, 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. As well as his dear nieces and their husbands.
Ken was a faithful man of God. He always had a smile to share and was a friend to all. He was a kind man and will be dearly missed.
