Rosaland Jovette Hunter was born to the parentage of Neal Hunter and Bettie Thomas Hunter on October 20, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rosaland received her formal education in the FWISD graduating in 1982 from Green B. Trimble Tech High School and she furthered her education at
Northwood University where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.

Rosaland was raised in a Christian home where she received her spiritual growth from the Golden Gate COGIC under the leadership of the late
Supt. L. C. Castleberry, she also served at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Pastor Tony Evens and the First Baptist Church of Glen Arden in Washington, D.C. Pastor John Jenkins.

Rosaland was employed at General Services Administration for 30 years and relocated to Washington,, D.C. and worked for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management until God called her home.
A time to love…
Rosaland met and married Russell Miller and to this union one child was born, Chelsea BriAnne Miller.
Spiritual exercise is valued in every way…
Rosaland was a personal trainer and had a love for fitness. She taught at
various places such as: Lary North Fitness, YMCA, Rising Star Baptist Church and the Potter’s House while also hosting various women’s empowerment and fitness events all over the DFW area.
I have fought a good fight…
Rosaland heard the Master’s voice saying well done thy good and faithful
servant and she gained her wings on November 26, 2018 in Silver Spring, MD surrounded by her family’s love. Those who preceded her in death are her father, Neal, Grandmother Bettie, uncles, JT and Ricky, aunts Sheila and Francis.
She leaves to cherish her memories…
