Betty was born February 19, 1948 to Fred R. and Mildred V. Romero in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by her siblings, Albert Vialpando, Fred Romero, Shirley Barron, Carmen Tafoya, and Josephine Coulter; four children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan E.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S Highway 85/87, Fountain.
