Halcomb, Wayne, age 69, of Carlisle passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on August 20, 1951, the son of the late Edward and Pearline (Sanders) Halcomb. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Halcomb in 2015 and three brothers, Bobby, Billy and Jim. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Lauri Moore; his son, Andrew Halcomb; a sister, Sue Coulson; four grandchildren, Miranda Hanisch, Lauren Moore, Drew Halcomb, Avery Halcomb and a great-granddaughter, Abby Lynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was retired from Avery Dennison and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27,2021, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin. Interment will military honors will follow in Woodhill Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday.
