Hi herman,  I miss you very much.  Tried to buy a dress today but you weren't there to help.  I finally gave up.  I miss having someone to to bounce ideas off of and to tell about all the silly and interesting things that I hear and read about.  I see couples walking hand in hand and it brings me to tears.  I have the kids and our special friends, but I still get lonesome.  Cousin Nancy gave me a crystal angel that represents you.  It is hanging in my car so you can continue to look after me.  Things are getting a little better.  Your parents are keeping in touch.  You will always be in my  heart.  Luv ya lots. Da bum

Hi Jimmy, We are writing to you up in heaven to tell you how much we miss you and love you. We will miss your smile and the delight in your eyes when things are good in your life, with family, with friends, when you were winning a board game or dominoes, or cards, Dirty Dora, phase 10. We will even miss your little disappointments when you were losing as well or the quick fits to anger if a bad play or move or someone else's good luck messed you up. We will miss you at Pine Grove, we will miss you on New Year's Eve and Day. We will miss joining you for our SF Best of Broadway plays and musicals. We will miss the impromptu get togethers at each others homes to do dinner and play games. WE will miss being a foursome. We will miss you sitting in the passenger seat holding the GPS and telling Chris where to turn instead of letting the GPS tell her. We will miss you telling us about a movie you saw with every detail, spoiling it for Tom. Well maybe Tom won't miss that. We will miss the delight in your eyes when Donovan and Simon were visiting their Pop-Pop. We will miss you Jim Steigerwald. Give Lorelei Lea a kiss from us and we will see you again. My condolences to the Steigerwald family.  I worked with Mr. Steigerwald at Grass Valley and have many fond memories of him. Your family will be in my prayers.

My Godfather and second-cousin Jim Steigerwald. Role model, educator, movie/book lover, sci-fi/rpg fan, mentor, and family man. Helped shape the man I am today. Rest in peace, Jimmy.
