Sheila K. Dickinson

She was born on January 13, 1955 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She worked as a fund raiser for Abate of Indiana and the Voters Information Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She enjoyed spending time with family, liked to play bingo and going to the casino’s gambling.

Survivors include her daughters, Stacy (Mike) Hakey of Fremont, Indiana and Jennifer Shoemaker (Tony Hubbard) of Angola, Indiana, grand-daughters, Mandy Sheckles (Mike Clark) of Fremont, Indiana, Jennifer Hakey of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Nicole (Joe) Swander of Fremont, Indiana and Michelle (Andrew) Eastom of Fremont, Indiana, grandson, James Lane of Durant, Michigan, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Drew Nichols and Kathleen (Osborne) Calhoun, a great-grandson, Carter Sheckles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northern Lakes Nursing Center for the care she received over the years.

Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or to Heartland Hospice.
