After high school, Earl served in World War II for the United States Army as a Tech Sergeant. In 1943, Earl married the love of his life, Caroline Fatius where they had two children, Kjersti and Rodney together. They were happily married for 59 years.
Earl loved to travel. His favorite places to visit were Tahiti and Huntington Lake, California where he spent many joyous times with his family. Earl never took anything in life for granted and loved spending time with family, friends, and his pets as he had a compassionate heart for animals.
Earl was a long time member of the Shriners Scottish Rite and also served as a board member at the United Local Credit Union. Earl was preceded in death by his wife Caroline; children, Kjersti and Rodney; and his beloved dog, Sandie.
Earl is survived by his three grandchildren, Kendra, Kaarin, and Kevin Kearney; and many great friends. We know Earl, "Papa", has once again been reunited with his family and is now smiling upon on us.
