Ingeborg "Inge" Bright was born in Koln, Germany on June 6,1928 and passed away on May 14, 2018 in Fresno, CA.
Love is what brought her to the U.S. , marrying an American WWII pilot and starting a family. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother, spoiling her family with authentic German cuisine, captivating stories from her life, and lots of laughter. Along with raising her two children, she loved to dance the jitterbug and polka.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George Bright, her parents Erwin and Katherine Holzer, her two brothers, Heinz and Werner Holzer, and her oldest daughter, Ingrid Bright.
Inge is survived by her daughter, Catherine McHarry and her two granddaughters, Lisa and Jennifer McHarry.
A Graveside service will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 12:30 pm.
