William Hugh McGlasson

He graduated from Redwood High School in Visalia, CA in 1945, and served in the Army, from 1946-49 in occupied Japan and in 1951 in Korea.

He married Faith Hill of Fort Worth, Texas on September 1. 1951. They had two children, David and Lori.

He graduated from Fresno State College in 1953 with a degree in civil engineering and operated his own engineering firm in Fresno until his retirement in the mid-1990s.

Bill was a long-time active member in North Fresno Rotary, serving as Club President and chairing several committees. He was active with Northwest Church, and later New Covenant Church, leading men’s Bible studies and small groups for many years.

Bill was preceded in death by his sisters Dot Haskell and Jane Swan, and by his beloved wife Faith.

He is survived by his son David (Donna), daughter Lori (Stan Lake), grandsons Randy McGlasson (Brittany) and Tyler McGlasson (Sally), his sister Lola Swan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
