Such an extraordinary man from a very special family. One very special memory I'll always remember was how delighted he was when I shared a genealogy discovery with him that Albert Einstein was in our family tree! He enjoyed hearing about the DNA impact on genealogy and wished his brother had been able to utilize that tool in his extensive research. His love and respect for his community, country and family will always be a source of pride from this cousin who shares his family name. I am so sad that his candle has burned out. Go rest high on that mountain!

Jack Curfman was a joyous, sharing teacher and friend. I returned to school as a nontraditional age student in 1982, and he was incredibly supportive. Always a smile for a tired student and perfect critiques that improved my work. He contributed his talents for design at the Lincoln Center for years as well as designing the exhibits in the Hatton Gallery and the CSU Student Center. His heart and soul were golden.

Jack was a good friend of my mom's and has known me all my life. He helped design three houses that I have lived in. He was a good friend and I will miss him very much.

Jack was an extraordinary man who truly loved life, every moment, every day. He spent his life bring joy and beauty to everything that he touched. He was an extremely creative artist in every aspect of his life. His greatest gift was how he helped others to shine; whether it was through his love of teaching, his exceptional artistry of exhibition design, or by his loving ability to truly spend time and listen to another soul. He cared about so many people. My life has been forever changed and deeply blessed by the times that I was privileged enough to spend time with him. We are all blessed to have had him touch our lives, he was truly an "Earth Bound Angel."
I love you Jack and miss you dearly, every single day!!!
