I had the pleasure of taking care of Mike for the past few years at the skilled nursing facility. He did not speak while I knew him, but he always showed his emotion. Sometimes he would cry when I spoke of his family, or asked him how he was. Other times, I would mention his daughter Shawnee, and he would just beam with love and pride. I have the honor of working with Shawnee too. She is a talented, and compassionate nurse with a huge heart, and that is a testament to the type of people who raised her. Sending love, light and prayers at this sad time, though i am happy that Mike now walks with the angels. He will be at home there.

I will never forget the way you danced around the living room any time there was music on, even if there was no one else around. You danced with your soul. Also, when I would try to raid snacks from your snack truck, and you would always let me have "ONLY ONE BAG"! Ha! I hope you can rest peacefully now uncle Mike, and keep on dancing in the sky. ♡

We were fortunate to have Mike as a wonderful neighbor for 20+ years. We had great fun watching the kids grow up and spending time together. It was rough watching him decline and seeing the family struggling to stay positive. While sad to see him go we are glad he is now at peace. Lots of love and hugs to Becky and family! ❤️❤️❤️
