

As a young athlete he was a slam dunk specialist in basketball and active in Track and Field events. He was 8th in the state of PA in the high jump in 1995 and also ran the 100m, 200m, 4 x 100m relay, triple jump, long jump and shot put. As an adult he continued lifting weights and playing Basketball, Track and Field and Ice Hockey. He also enjoyed watching sports especially the New York Yankees, Chicago Bears and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He got his start as a chef in his hometown at The Clifford Hotel in Clifford, PA. He became known for his signature “Brad’s Wing Pizza” which was a top seller and is still asked about 20 plus years later. He was most recently the Executive Chef at TPC Treviso Bay in Naples, FL. Previously he had worked as the Executive Chef at Colonial Country Club in Ft Myers, FL; Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager at Sandpines Resort in Florence, OR; Executive Sous Chef at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, AZ; Executive Sous Chef at San Marcos Resort & Conference Center, Chandler, AZ; Executive Chef at Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, Copper Center, AK; Chef de Cuisine at the AZ Kitchen at the Wigwam Resort, Litchfield Park, AZ. He was a certified Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation. While working at the AZ Kitchen at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, AZ (a 4 star, 4 diamond resort) he trained under former White House Executive Chef, John Hill. He was nominated for Food & Beverage Professional of the Year for Troon Golf in 2014.
He had a zest for life like no other. He loved spending time with his wife and children and spending time outdoors, especially around the fire pit. He loved to make people laugh. He also enjoyed playing guitar and was compassionate and always willing to teach. A very loving and loveable person, he was very humble and patient but also fearless.
He is survived by his wife, Tanisha Natoya Samuels- Jenkins; One daughter, Maya Jamie Jenkins, age 9 and one son, Elias David Jenkins, age 7 and by their mother, Suki Little; He is also survived by his mother, Sandra Ruth Mowry and his stepfather, Dennis Mowry; his father, Ralph David Jenkins and his stepmother, Pattie Maxim Jenkins; a brother, Matthew Duane Jenkins and by his grandmother, Martha Rizzo Jenkins as well as many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at National Cremation Service, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway, in North Fort Myers, FL.
