I wanted to share my condolences with you and your family at this difficult time. I know how difficult it is to loose a loved one. The pain, grief and feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. I have found that at such times the best place to turn to is the Bible. The Bible helps us understand how Jehovah and Jesus feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his father, knew the pain of losing a loved one in death. At John 11:35 it says that Jesus gave way to tears when he saw how the death of his friend Lazarus affected his family.  What he did next gives us hope, moved by love for his friends, Jesus resurrected his friend.   When we read accounts such as this, it gives us hope that one day we will be able to see our own dead loved ones brought back to life. And we have this hope made firm by the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he says Do not be amazed by this, the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. What an amazing hope we have to look forward to. Dad, I have no words to express the feeling of absence we feel. I do however, feel a sense of relief that you will no longer be suffering and that gives me some peace. You don't have to worry, because we will all take care of each other. Dad we miss you and will always love you. I know that someday we will all be together again.
