May Wines Schmohe, 94, formerly of Fulton, Missouri passed away on March 17, 2018 at Willow Care Rehabilitation and Health Center in Hannibal, Missouri.

She was born June 16, 1923 in Effingham County, Illinois. On May 16, 1942, she married Hollis Schmohe in Effingham.

She is survived by two sons, Steven (Sharon) Schmohe of Hannibal and Rodne (Brenda) Schmohe of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Susan Offutt of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Matthew (Maria) Offutt of Louisville, Quintin (Mendy) Schmohe and Corey (Billie) Schmohe of Hannibal, Whitney Schmohe of Bowling Green, Missouri, Jackie Joyce of Jasper, Missouri, David (Liz) Schmohe of Seneca, Missouri and seven great-grandchildren.

May was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four half-brothers, one half-sister and one grandchild.

She was a wonderful stay-at-home Mom and Grandmother who enjoyed ceramics, needlework and baking. Later, she was a counselor for the Missouri School for the Deaf.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. David Mueller officiating. Entombment will follow in the Callaway Memorial Gardens mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice, 914 West Main Street, Bowling Green, Missouri 63334.
