There were moments in my life where a ray of light shined upon me. When I was around the Staton family was one of those times. The love that I felt when I was among them was something that I have never forgotten. I was really sad to learn of Barbara's passing. I am grateful for having the chance to tell her how much I loved Teresa after her passing and how I felt about the entire Staton family. Even though my time around them was brief it was something that I will never forget and it is something that will live inside me until my dying day.

My favorite Aunt......always. Aunt Barbara was always there for me, always affirming and accepting when it seemed the world was against me. She was my rock in the family as a teenager. I'll always remember picking apples with her in the pasture, and rolling down the grassy hill like small children. She was witty, and fun, and caring . We lost track of one another for a while when I left for college, got married, and raised a family, but when we reconnected, she hadn't changed. I'll miss her phone calls and sweet cards. I hope that I will bless others as she blessed me.

A cousin to Barbara, I did not see her after she left N. Y. I did get out to see her mother, my aunt Dottie a few years ago at a nursing home in Jacksonville, Illinois. Very sorry for the family loss. Thank you Barry for letting me know about Barbara. Prayers for the family
