Charles John Motsko AKA Charlie passed away on December 31, 2020 due to COVID surrounded by his granddaughter and grandson. He is survived by his Stepdaughter Natalie, Granddaughter Nicole, Grandson Tyler, a lot of nieces and nephews and his dog Muffy.

Charlie was born 3/6/1927 in Ernest, PA and was the last surviving sibling of 12. Charlie and all his 5 brothers served in the 2nd World War at the same time. He achieved his Masters degree in Education. Charlie has an extensive resume as a high school teacher, teaching several subjects including Latin. He retired from his career as a Principal at Servite High school. Charlie was a very dedicated catholic. He married the love of his life Valerie Motsko and was married for 29 years. Charlie and Valerie loved to Travel the World. Charlie was always a very active man playing baseball and played in the senior softball leagues until he was 88 years old. He also loved freshwater fishing. Charlie was very loyal to the Servite Alumni family and stayed involved long after his retirement by frequenting football games and events. He donated to many charities. Charlie was a warm, caring, funny, witty, loving man who will be missed dearly by everyone.

In lieu of flowers Charlie would want a donation to Servite High school. There will be a Rosary, funeral and burial service. If interested in going, please contact the family for more info.

Condolences to Charles Motsko's family on his passing. On behalf of Servite High School's Class of 1984 we recall his sometimes stern leadership and influence during an important time of our lives. We'll not forget Fr. Motsko. He's an example of the richness and diverse experience one can include in a long, well-lived life.
