Andrea J. Huddleston, a resident of Bessemer, was born on July 25, 1947 and passed away on November 4, 2019 at the age of 72.

Andrea graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a Masters in English. She worked for a few years as a teacher and then she worked for the Social Security Administration until she retired and after retirement she worked at Ed Whiten Cars.

Andrea loved to Ballroom Dance and she danced on a regular basis and at different locations with a couple of different groups of ballroom dancers. She also loved to read and enjoyed gardening. She loved all of her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, John and Addie Huddleston; a sister, Joan Whiten, and a brother, John Michael Huddleston.

Andrea is survived by one sister-in-law, Brenda Huddleston; two nephews, Rusty Whiten and his wife, Cindy Whiten, and David Huddleston and his wife Kristi; one niece, Robin Phillips; four great nephews, Alston Whiten and his wife Meredith Whiten, Dalton Whiten, Stoney Phillips, and Cole Huddleston; one great niece, Kaeli Huddleston; one great-great nephew, Aiden Whiten; and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, November 11, 2019 with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 am; service at 11:00am followed by her burial in Midway United Methodist Cemetery, Adamsville, Alabama.
