Charles "Gene" Eugene Ogles, age 70, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Charles was born June 20, 1951. Charles "Gene" is preceded in death by his mother Doris Ogles, his father Francis Ogles, his son Charles Ogles Jr., and his two brothers Frank and Cecil Ogles. He is survived by his wife Linda Ogles, his son Anthony Ogles; his grandchildren: Paige Cooper (DJ), Jordan Ogles, Codie Ogles (Savannah);his great grandchildren: Charlie and MaKayla Cooper; Jaxson, Grayson, and Ellie Ogles. Gene had a profound spirit and touched the lives of everyone he met. Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Funeral Home on January 29, 2022 in Gardendale from 11:30-12 for family and 12:00-1 for friends. Graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
