Hazel Hogan

Hazel Hogan, age 85 of Hanceville, AL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was a lifelong member of Farley Mission Church in Fultondale and was often referred to as the “Mother of the Church”. She never backed away from expressing her opinions but would always put the needs of her family before her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Hogan; and her grandson, Travis D. Walker. She is survived by her son, Dewayne Hogan, Sr. (Stacey); her daughter, Lanette Walker (Travis); a brother, Willard Farley; grandchildren, Dewayne Hogan, Jr. (Shelli) and Kevin Hogan (Angie); great grandchildren, Brittany Walker (Jason Wood), Tray Walker, Madison Hogan, Chandler Hogan, and Collin Hogan; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 1 until 2:30 PM with chapel services at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Rev Gloria Farley and Brother Paul Sims will officiate.
