Orene was a beautiful lady inside and out. We went to Fellowship Baptist Church together and recent to East Gardendsle Baptist. We had Sunday school Christmas parties at her house when we were members of Fellowship and always fun and good food. She was always very proud of her family and loved them. Orene was a person that always bounced back from any medical issue she had and was back in Church as soon as she could be. She will be missed. Prayers for Regina and family.

Granny, it is an honor to be a part of your wonderful family and feel the love you graciously bestowed upon me. My first memory of you was your outstretched wings drawing me into your embrace. Feelings of love and acceptance flooded my soul. Yet through the years, many more memories were made every time we gathered for fellowship. Those colorful, joyful, endearing memories will always live in my thoughts. So it is fitting that the last memory was your angelic wings, invitingly reaching out for one last hug as your family gathered to love on you and support you. I love you dearly, and go rest high upon that mountain.

I loved her voice. When she spoke it was with love and wisdom and often laughter and I always listened. To know I held a special place in her heart is a great honor. Granny I loved your home, I loved your banana pudding, and I’ll always love you. I’m sure Paw-paw is glad to be with you again.

My prayers and thoughts are for the family of Orene. Orene, was one of those special ladies that only come once in a lifetime. I am so glad to have served as her Pastor and friend.
I have a special treasure in my office, "a Puzzle" it is a puzzle of the Nativity, so vivid in it's color so real.
I will miss her smile and her kindness that was so genuine. I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven!

Granny was always there and so kind. No matter what happened you could count on her. She had a heart of gold. When I graduated college I had a few months before going in the army so I stayed with her and paw paw. She made my lunch everyday and ironed my shirts and did everything for me she could possible do. I will miss her calling me Tommy. A truly wonderful grandmother.

My mom was a huge part of my life and life will drastically change without her..I talked to her every day and was with her most of my time. She was loved by so many people because she had a huge generous heart. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren so much. She lived a full life and will be greatly missed. She is with my dad in heaven now, and that gives me comfort. Bye mom. I’ll see you again soon.
