I am extremely sadden for Doris departure and send my deepest love and light to my step mother Marilyn and the whole family!
She was the sweetest lady and I thank her for always treating me with sweetest kindness.
I always regarded her as a hero because she had driven safely so many children so many years.
Like an angel with strong arms and a joyful colored metal horse, she would take them back and forth to their parents and the school protecting her precious cargo with responsible love and care.
You will be missed but never forgotten dear Doris.

Prayers for all. Aunt Doris is with Uncle Jack now and I know they are happy to be back together again. I'm sorry I didn't get to come and see you again , with the covid 19 it wasn't safe. I will miss you but I still have all the memories of you & Jack in my heart. Will never forget the sweetest, kindest, and the most caring beautiful lady I have ever known. Will never forget you, with all my love Beth

Doris had a heart of gold and a kind loving spirit. She always opened her home to my family with wide open arms and kisses. She meant so much to my family and It's so sad to watch family members age with health issues. May God comfort you all with courage and strength to face the days ahead.

Jack, Cindy, and the entire Harrelson family - Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. While I have known her a long time, being the wife of cousin Jack (Sr.), I got to talk with her daily when she drove the bus for me during my time at Tryon. She will definitely be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear this about Doris...I have very fond memories of her and Jack. They both were always the sweetest. My best memory of Doris is her being my school-bus driver and seeing her randomly throughout the day... I also loved visiting them at their house, because there was always some funny stories being told and laughter throughout the house. You will always have a special place in my heart ♥️
