We were saddened to hear the news of the passing of Lois. Even though we no longer live in Cherryville and attend First Presbyterian,we are living in NY with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren,we keep our dear friends in Cherryville and First Prsbyterian close to our hearts. We remember Lois and her family from church. Even though she had physical problems, she always had a positive out look and had Christ in her heart that she shared with others. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lois'family. Fred and Marsha Brown

I remember Aunt Mattie Lois for the love she had for everyone. My early memories when we lived “near the Etowah River”was of her ironing her beautiful dresses with a heavy iron warmed by the fireplace. She was happy whatever task she did and adored her “little Mama” Lois Mulinix. She never grew too old to sit in her lap and tell her how much she loved her. The covered bridge in Euharlee was used at that time and all roads were dirt roads, even all the way into Cartersville. Aunt Mattie Lois fixed my hair on our trips into Cartersville. She was beautiful inside and out. I loved her so much and know she will be missed by all of her family.

Our fondest memories about Lois were days the fun times we had line dancing with our friend for many yea rs. The highlight of our dancing days was performing on National TV in March 1998; the show was Club Dance. We know Lois continues to smile and dance in God's heavenly kingdom. The Kingdom is now a brighter place since Lois has arrived and will enjoy her eternal life.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mattie Lois. The Butler family spent many hours at the Mulinix home in Euharlee. We loved all the family and had so much fun together. God Bless you all.
