Margaret Lewis Dellinger Dockery

Margaret Lewis Dellinger Dockery, 86, passed away November 2, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born March 6, 1927 to the late Muller and Beulah Lewis in Winnsboro, SC. Margaret was a beloved wife and homemaker and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 19 years, Floyd Dockery of McAdenville, NC; sons, John (Pete) Dellinger and wife Lois of Denver, NC, Larry Dellinger and wife Patricia of Iron Station, NC, Tony Dellinger of York, SC, Kevin Dellinger of Rock Hill, SC, David Dockery of Gastonia, NC, Steven Dockery of Cherryville, NC; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Brown of Columbia, SC.

Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, John M. (Bill) Dellinger and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 5 at Second Baptist Church in Mt. Holly, NC. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service at the church.
