Ethel Marie Carroll

Ethel Marie (Spruell) (Glover) Carroll, of Georgetown, Tx, passed away March 31, 2008 at the age of 88. Marie was born on September 26, 1919 in Brookhaven, Tx to Spears and Amanda (Parks) Spruell. She is preceded in death by first husband Short Glover in 1976, and by her second J.W. Carroll in 2003; her son Sammy Glover in 1996; as well as two sisters and her parents. Survivors include her brother, Edward Spruell of Friendship, Tx; daughter, Frances Jones of Florence, Tx; grandchildren, Shera Watts, Tina Gray, Clinton Watts, Randy Watts; great-grandchildren, Tisa Gray, Casey Gray, Nathan Chandler, April Rubendall, Nastassja Watts, Samantha French, Lucas Watts; great-great grandchild, Dixie Sky French, and several nieces and nephews. Marie loved to bake and decorate cakes, as well as painting pictures. She was loved by all, and will never be forgotten. Service times are 11:00 am Thursday, April 3, 2008 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Tx, with burial following at Live Oak Cemetery at Youngsport. A visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel Wednesday April 2, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm.
