Albert "Wes" Wesley Pieplow
August 6, 1955 – September 9, 2019
Albert Wesley “Wes” Pieplow, 64, died peacefully on September 9, 2019. Wes was born on August 6, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Archie Chester Jr. and Anita Pieplow. He entered the United States Air Force shortly after marrying his high school sweetheart, Christine A Neadershiser in 1974. While in the military, he worked in aviation fuels making sure the aircraft could complete numerous missions. In the 45 years of marriage, they welcomed two daughters into their lives, Jessica Farrow and Jennifer Kelley, and eventually 4 grandchildren. Wes taught his daughters the meaning of hard work, being kind to animals, how to change a tire, to be respectful to those around you, and the meaning of being with family. His children remember him as an intelligent, hard-working man who encouraged them to pursue their goals and to put in an honest day’s work, even if it was just collecting cans for recycling or working a shift at a company. Wes was accomplished at finished carpentry and believed to do something to the best of one’s ability was key. He once fashioned church doors from a warped wood pile, coaxing them to align properly and stand strong and crisp, to the delight of the church congregation. He was a dedicated man who loved his family, his dogs, and his birds. He loved old cars, preferably Mopar and comets, and was passionate about making sure those around him were taken care of and loved. Anyone who asked for help, he made sure to be there to assist. He was most proud of his daughters, one which followed his footsteps into the military, and one who entered the medical field. Speaking of either would make him smile.
Wes is preceded in death by father Archie Chester Pieplow Jr, mother Anita Pieplow, and sisters Ellen Lee, Anita Nadler.
Wes is survived by his by wife of 45 years Christine A Neaderhiser, twin brother Archie Chester Pieplow III, sister Sue Coyle, daughters Jessica Farrow (Christian Farrow), Jennifer Kelley (Michael Kelley Jr), 4 grandchildren Harmony Farrow, Lindsey Farrow, Kenzie Ballard, Colby Ballard, and 14 nieces and nephews.
